Welcome to the HazelCurtis.com Blog!
Who says an old dog can’t learn a new trick. I have doubts about my pugs, but I have no doubts about myself. I’ve been thinking all week of the “why” behind doing this. Then I passed by one of my favorite framed cards by Maryanne Radmacher. And---so I will leap!
As I’ve journeyed through life, I find I am not alone – although I often think I am the only person asking such weird questions. Many of my friends seem to be living a perfect life. Beautiful homes, wonderful jobs, travel to exotic places, fabulous clothes and everything that goes with it. Then at the oddest times, these very same beautiful friends share something with me and I am reminded that we all carry an invisible backpack crammed full of the rocks of pain, self-doubt and loss. Rarely do we ever admit to the rocks, we just trudge along and carry them. If only we were brave enough to pull them out and share, we would have so many rocks in common. This is blog is an invitation to at least look at your rocks and consider leaving the invisible backpack – or at least a couple of rocks under a bush somewhere.
